# 6/14 Drukhari quest fix

# 6/12 Tyranid part 1, early game momentum + new adaptations

# Tyranids

– City founding is half price, 60/60 -> 30/30 biomass/influence. Metamorphic Malanthropes (the old t4 -50% research) is baseline now and hidden from the tree. Less time spent researching things you need just to function.

– Grey Matter Dispersion rolled into Accelerated Brood Cycle (t3), so one research gives +2 pop limit and the loyalty penalty reduction. More early game momentum.

– Cities needed AP. Swapped a Devourer for a Heavy Venom Cannon, did it in both headquarters files. Comes out to about +16% damage vs unarmored but +39% vs armor 3, which was the point.

– New t5 tech in Grey Matter’s old slot, "Corrosive Strikes". One bio-adaptation: every attack applies stacking Corrosion (-0.75 armor, 2 turns), melee attacks also apply Lacerations (-0.5 armor, same deal) so melee shreds at -1.25 a hit. Swarm wearing down tough opponents. Was originally two separate melee/ranged adaptations but the engine has no "ranged only" attack condition, so condensed it.
– Stacking works via stacking="1" like RadSaturation, each stack has its own 2 turn timer so they fall off at the rate you apply them. No hard cap, the duration is the cap. Side note for later: Jinx/Shroudpsalm/Armorbane style "rankMax" debuffs don’t actually stack on reapply, the rank stuff seems to be for something else entirely.

– Assimilation Accelerants rolled into t7 Aggressive Expansion, reclaim cooldown removal comes with the growth tech now.

– New t8 tech in Assimilation’s old slot, "Hypermetamorphic Plasticity". +1 bio-adaptation slot on all units.

– Didn’t test in game yet, see TODO. Also the new adaptations are wearing borrowed icons for now (Flesh Hooks and Toxin Sacs art).

# 6/7 tentative balance changes and a ‘necron’ bugfix. Chaplain nerf.

# Necrons – Rapid Rise, Extraction Matrix

– Extraction Matrix buffed 6->7 yield rates, +1 Influence.
– Base cost reduced from 12x to 5x (vanilla 4x) production cost, upgrades now effect all buildings.
– Rapid Rise Early (t2) reduces cost to 4.25x; Rapid Rise Warmachine moved from t7 to t5, reduces cost to 3.5x

# Space Marines

– Chaplain Fortress of Will armor buff now has the same target filtering as something like Nanoscarab Reanimation Beam, can’t target Heroes, Vehicles, or Fortifications.
– Chaplain HP reduced, 26->22. When Hero Armor was removed, most heroes got 2x HP. Chaplain got 3x. He’s now slightly more burstable.

# AdMech
– fixed a description issue for a building, a necron had snuck in.

– Track down other bugs with other races.

– Whatever other issues people report.

Global Changes:

– River Terrain Tiles now provide +20% Energy, +20% Food, and -1 City building Slot.

– Healing in Outposts and Cities has been increased by 5% — now 20% per turn on Outpost tiles and 25% per turn on City tiles.

– Pinned Debuff no longer increases the ranged damage reduction of units.

– Skyfire Trait now affects Air Units, Skimmers, and Jetpack Units. You deal 33% more damage against these unit types, but 33% less damage against ground units. (Previously, this only applied to Air Units with smaller bonuses and penalties.)

– Soulblaze and other Damage-over-Time (DoT) effects now last for 2 turns instead of 1.

– Grenades have been reworked for almost all factions: they ignore cover by default, but now have a fixed accuracy of 50%, and cannot be improved by accuracy modifiers.
