F-99 Shrike J-5006
The "Armament Programme 1992" was a program meant to update the Swiss Airforce’s aging inventory of Mirage IIIs. It was split between the F-16C Viper and the F/A-18C Hornet, of which the Hornet won the trials. It later went into licensed production at Emmen, Lucerne from 1996 – 1999, with J-5006 being delivered in November of 1997.
This J-5006 skin is for the F-99 Shrike mod, made by Aryx. its such a tiny baby bean of a hornet its so cuteeeee
I was also very lucky, enough to see this exact tailcode on the taxiway near the Clin d’Ailes museum at Payerne Airbase, which is what struck my inspiration for VTOL VR liveries, and now Nuclear Option liveries too.
thank you to the Nuclear Option livery walkthrough, and to Aryx for the F-99 Shrike mod!
