The Condena Class Mod

This class has a high skill ceiling and hard learning curve as cost for her powerful double action. Additionally will punish even more those mistakes by letting her entering DD or being afflicted. Take this in your mind while playing her.

The Condena is a dual support class who can actively support her team in her first action by healing, buffing or protecting them before going aggressively towards her enemies in her second actions.

This means she acts twice each round, once targets her allies and other the enemies. This can’t be exchanged, thus she requires supporting the team before affecting the enemy line.

Her power remains in her utility and versatility before raw big numbers since she’s early battle weak because her needs of buffing herself or her team to perform even further.

She requires additionally high synergy within her team and herself to perform correctly, which means she’s weak for her own.

This class mod is currently in Beta phase.
I’m searching to provide refreshing expreriences with my classes through unique classes or new mechanics to force the gameplay to another direction. The Condena is no exception but the original purpose of this class was to test some mechanic (the dual stance) for future classes of mine, which mean I wasn’t thinking in invest too much time in balancing nor testing this class. This means for this mod I require a lot of feedback, which will be highly welcome, for her since I think she has a huge potential to be a really enjoyable support class.

This also means this mod lacks some content (like trinkets, some text/barks and so on).

Playstyle overview

The Condena is a powerful ally with support characteristics.

Her main role synergies with stunner and mark damage dealers, which prolongs the stuns and allows the mark damage dealers being more effective with the Condena’s mark.
Additionally the Condena can be an supportive backliner killer with reviver tool at high HP while becoming a healer with finisher backline tool at low.
When needed, she can build her nuke dots for more convenient damage and becoming the main damage source of the group if the team is builded around her kit.
Her role support for stress is not the best but can provide stress prevention or faster stress healing to the group stress healer.

Take in consideration in which role you want for the Condena since her performance could variate depending in what you’re demanding from her. Thankfully all her kit is available and her building only remains in her team.

Punishment mechanic- Condemnation:

Right now this mechanic doesn’t apply the negative effects. This mechanic is for story telling purposes until new changes.

The Condena is a powerful ally once learned to use her double stance mechanic, which allow creative plays while synergying with other team members. But this power comes with cost which could cause the failing of the Condena if the player doesn’t have the preventive caution while playing with her.

The Condemnation will provide exclusive negative quirks to the Condena if she reachs Death’s Door or gets Afflicted.

Death’s Door Condemnation:

  • Entitled by "Ephemeral", this quirks can be removed like any other negative quirk.
  • Can be obtained each time the Condena enters Death’s Door
  • She can receive from 1 to 3 negative quirks at once
  • This negative quirks affects her stats

Affliction Condemnation:

  • Entitled by "Eternal", this quirks are negative quirks disguised as positive. This means this condemnations can’t be removed.
  • Can be obtained each round while being afflicted
  • She can receive 1 each time the affliction triggers the effect (if she already has the quirk, she’ll not receive the negative quirk)
  • This negative quirks affects her stats related to dmg/stress damage received.

Unique Affliction – Condemned:

The Condemned (Affliction) is a simple yet dangerous affliction is used incorrectly.
This affliction has a low chance (30%) of forcing the Condena targeting her own allies with her demonic skills (with some variation effects).

The player can select which one of her 4 skills the Condena will use in her allies, so the damage done is more manageable than others affliction as long the player knows which one of her skills has the best of the worst case scenarios possible.

After using the respective skill the Condena will act like normal.
