TE109 aka BR130 – type of an heavy duty universal diesel locomotive, manufactured in various subtypes in the Voroshilovgrad (Lugansk) Locomotive Works on Ukrainian SSR in the years 1967-1982. This type of diesel locomotive was wildly exported to various Eastern Block countries (Mostly GDR and Bulgaria), in the USSR most of locomotives of this type were used on industral railroads. Nicknamed <<Ludmilla>>

For me it is the most beautiful diesel locomotive ever manufactured.
