Klickmala Race (Humanoid Insect Alien Race)
"A race of intelligent insectoids. They have a pair of antennae and an extended abdomen with four legs, but are still close enough to humans in intelligence and shape that human societies in some parts of the galaxy have accepted them."
Klickmala (plural) are a playable race of anthropomorphized insects created using the Humanoid Alien Races 2.0 framework. Besides their appearance, they have been designed to be only minimally different from Human pawns, so they can be added to most colonies with minimal accommodation.
Safe to add to existing saves, but not to remove.
– Klickmala have body parts, textures, and colors mostly inspired by real insects; combined with the base 5 body shapes, they come in tens of thousands of visual combinations!
– Starting pawns, wanderers, refugees, and slaves will be replaced with Klickmala about 15% of the time.
– Klickmala will appear in raids, settlements, and trade caravans of other factions as well.
– Bionic and Arcotech replacements for Klickmala Antennae can crafted or found in the same ways as other vanilla prosthetics. All other body parts should inherit prosthetics from the mod of your choice (or vanilla).
– Support for the following modded factions (Klickmala pawns will appear in their raids, traders, etc): Medieval Times, Vanilla Factions Expanded – Medieval
– Klickmala have a pair of antennae that act as additional sight parts. This doesn’t make their sight any better than a Human’s, but spreading the capability across more parts means it is affected less by both injuries and prosthetic upgrades.
– Klickmala have two extra legs, and their legs have no bones, feet, or toes. These changes affect how they take damage in combat very slightly, but the main consequence is same as above: their movement is less affected by injuries or prosthetics.
My race mods should be compatible with virtually anything. Worst case scenario: I’ve patched some new entries into the base game’s PawnGroupMakers, so if a mod were to heavily modify or remove those, I’m not sure what would happen.
