Description:

Ship Introduction
HMS Queen Victoria of the Royal Navy is a high-speed battleship designed by the author in an alternate history (架空设计). It is based on the I3 battlecruiser, integrated with the 406mm naval guns originally planned for the Lion-class battleships, and features enhanced armor protection and anti-aircraft capabilities. Different from the defensive performance of HMS St. Vincent, its protection has been significantly strengthened, boasting a main armor belt of 16-inch class thickness and a total horizontal protection of 340mm. Among this, the horizontal protection in the armored area reaches up to 200mm, which is basically immune to attacks where enemy shells of conventional calibers penetrate the top armor to hit the ammunition magazine at long ranges. Meanwhile, the warship has been extensively refitted with new 133mm dual-purpose (high-angle/flat-trajectory) guns and additional anti-aircraft firepower, greatly enhancing its counterattack capability against aerial assaults. At the same time, it maintains its inherent high speed (35 knots) and underwater torpedo launchers, with only the main gun caliber being sacrificed. These modifications enable HMS Queen Victoria to possess stronger battlefield adaptability and development potential than HMS St. Vincent.
