The Garcia-class frigates are the second generation of warships of the United States Navy after the war. They mainly undertake combat tasks centered on anti-submarine escort. The first ship was commissioned in 1964, and a total of 10 ships were built. The construction period was 6 years. Its full-load displacement is 3,560 tons, the length is 126.3 meters, the width is 13.5 meters, the speed is 27.3 knots, the range is 4,000 nautical miles, and the crew size is 321 people. It is equipped with one eight-barrel "Aslak" anti-submarine rocket launcher (capable of launching "Whale Spear" anti-ship missiles), two three-barrel anti-submarine torpedo launchers of MK32, two single-barrel 127-millimeter guns, and one SH-2D "Sea Dragon" helicopter.
