BEEP Kenshi Mod Manager
LATEST UPDATE 1.2.8
Sector inspector (All Edits) — clicking a mod’s edited sector now shows exactly what it changed vs the base game: moved objects with distances, plus added and removed objects by name, in collapsible sections. (Added/removed can include false positives for re-saved town objects — hover the ⓘ.)
Collision detection (Conflicts) — clicking a contested exterior sector now shows the object-level overlap between the mods: the objects both mods move (with each mod’s move distance), plus each mod’s full change list. Sectors where mods edit different objects are called out as disjoint.
Subbing to this does nothing. Only here so people can find this easier.
Sub to it if you like it. Helps visibility!

Beep Enhances Every Playthrough
Organize your mods into categories, detect conflicts, visualize them on the world map, and get AI-assisted sorting suggestions. Works with Steam and GOG.
- Category-based sorting — Organize mods into customizable categories (UI, Animations, Races, Weapons, etc.) displayed as columns. Load order reads left-to-right, top-to-bottom.
- Drag and drop — Reorder mods within and between categories. Drag column headers to reorder categories. Multi-select with Ctrl/Shift+click and drag multiple mods at once.
- Send to position — Right-click any mod and send it to an exact load order position.
- Horizontal & vertical layouts — Toggle between column view and stacked list view.
- Collapsible categories — Minimize columns to keep your workspace tidy.
- Pin uncategorized — Keep uncategorized mods in a resizable side panel with its own search filter for easier sorting.
- Global search — Filter mods by name across all categories.
- Deep mod parsing — Parses .mod binary files to detect when multiple mods modify the same game data. Shows which mod wins based on load order.
- FCS-powered descriptions — Uses Kenshi’s own fcs.def to show human-readable names for conflicting properties.
- Interactive conflict map — Visualize zone conflicts on the Kenshi world map with zoom, pan, and interior/exterior layer toggles.
- Three-way conflicts — Green (winning), red (overridden), and yellow (both overridden by a third mod) indicators.
- Dependency warnings — Highlights missing, inactive, or incorrectly ordered dependencies.
- Export your mod list with full Steam Workshop descriptions to a text file, paste it into an AI chatbot (Claude, ChatGPT), and import the sorted result.
- 5 export modes — from full descriptions to compact tags-only for large mod lists (500+), plus batch splitting.
- No mod files are uploaded. Uses only public Steam API data with a manual copy/paste workflow.
- Link/Unlink All — Create or remove symlinks for all Steam Workshop mods in your game’s Mods folder with one click.
- Per-mod linking — Link or unlink individual mods via right-click.
- FCS compatible — Uses directory symlinks compatible with the Forgotten Construction Set.
- Save and load complete mod configurations — categories, order, and active/inactive state.
- Play — Save your load order and launch Kenshi directly from the app.
- FCS — Launch the Forgotten Construction Set.
- Linux support — Launches via Steam or Wine on Linux.
- View mod Steam/Nexus pages, the Kenshi load order guide, and the Steam Workshop directly in the app.
- Mod preview images from the Steam Workshop displayed in the detail panel.
- Steam & GOG — Auto-detects your Kenshi installation from either platform.
- 11 languages — English, German, Spanish, French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Polish, Turkish, Chinese.
- Dark & Kenshi themes
- Auto-updates — Checks GitHub for new releases on launch.
