Heir Selector
This mod adds a pool of heir candidates that players can choose from when playing a country with hereditary succession. The selector can be opened through the ruler’s character interaction menu.
The two newly generated candidates share the current heir’s culture and religion. Their ages are within five years of the current heir’s age, can never be lower than 0, and cannot exceed the current ruler’s age. Whenever possible, candidates receive a royal surname based on the country’s vanilla dynasty mapping, such as Habsburg, Romanov, Hohenzollern, Aisin Gioro, or Tokugawa.
