Better Scissors?
When I first thought to buff this item, I thought of giving it the same teareffects as Isaac as wel as scaled teardamage, but with a higher charge for rooms..
But ’cause of the way Isaac is coded, you can’t change Active item’s their charge without going into .xml files, so THAT would mean that I’d need to /completely/ recreate the item’s workings through lua, wich would have been waaay more work for waaay to little of a payout (the item still wouldn’t be /that/ good)
TBH seems like it’s one of the more harder items to buff, but let it stay balanced. So I sort of let it stay partially bad, but with a decent twist…
SO How does this mod change the effects of the Scissors then?
CHANGES:
– Every head spawned deals collisiondamage now, same damage and same way like Cube of meat (3.5 damage per tick)
-The teardamage now scales with Isaac’s, but only the damage (no teareffects), wich is the same as Isaac’s
ADDED: he also copies Isaac’s tearrate, wich can’t go lower then 10 tearrate
– Synergizes with BFF’s!: Doubles the teardamage (so double the damage from Isaac) and doubles the damage of the head, but doesn’t size it bigger (that wasn’t possible without scaling the player himself bigger, and it wouldn’t matter that much ’cause the player’s hitbox doesn’t become bigger)
Anyway, I think it sort of turns out better in the end, while still staying balanced in a way, but….It’s still sort of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ poopy
