Description:

Have you noticed that you don’t need to focus on food all that much unless you are a small nation? Do you think food should be more important in the game? Do you think that Granaries are a waste of your time and building slots? Do you think food production in the game is unrealistic? If you have ever had these questions, then this mod is for you.

Within the game, food is produced at a base amount every month depending on the settlement’s slaves, terrain, and trade good. However, a glaring issue with this system is the fact that food is produced throughout the year at a standard basis. This is not how it is in real life, were food production ground to a halt during the winter seasons. This mod aims to solve this issue by decreasing food production during the winter and increasing food production during the summer.

While farming is different throughout the world, and there are many different times of harvest and planting, this mod will be more broad. The whole world’s food production will be affected by the winter seasons and the summer seasons. However, in the future, I do hope that I could work towards making region-specific farming have different times where food production is increased.

This mod should be compatible with most others, unless it drastically changes food or changes the start date from October 1st (will hope to fix this later). This mod is also not ironman compatible, since it effects modifiers and events.

Please report any bugs and offer suggestions, and make sure to rate if you enjoy the mod.
