Colonial Trait Fix
This mod fixes colonial nation’s unwillingness to convert natives to religion and culture, and also has a partial fix for colonial nations using their one colonist for development rather then colonizing anything.
To explain things more in depth, the latest change to traits that colonial nations have give them zero penalty for provinces that don’t follow their religion or denomination. This trait makes it so that all colonial nations in the game have zero drive to change the religion of the natives in their provinces, which in turn, causes them to not be able to convert their culture either. I’ve ran a game recently and New Spain was 90% meso american throughout all the game, this is rediculous.
Another issue is the fact that colonies would sometimes use their colonist to develop their capital cities or sometimes their world ports, which is a waste of a good colonist, he should be doing better things like adding more provinces to the colony. I added a colonist to all colonial nations so that the chance of the colony wasting their colonist is reduced by at least half. It’s a partial change but I’m not that skilled of a programmer to actually remove colonies ability to use their colonist to develop their provinces.
