In 1932, the Red Army of the Soviet Union put forward the requirement to develop another type of BT fast tank, which not only required high firepower, but also improved maneuverability by using a new engine developed by the Soviet Union. The vehicle, BT-5 fast tank, was equipped with a 45 mm 20-K artillery and a 7.62 mm parallel machine gun. The combat weight is 11500 kg, the vehicle length is 5.52 m, the vehicle width is 2.23 m and the vehicle height is 2.21 M.
