Let Us Farm Lettuce
The main objective of this mod is to allow compatibility between separate farming mods without the need to add crop types to the main farming files. For this reason I have not added crop types that already exist in the Farmoid and mod.
To make farming mods compatible they will need to be updated to use my modified farming files. Check the examples I used in this mod and in case you find it difficult to understand, let me know and I will help.
These are the features supported by the current version:
-Allows new crop types in the "Sow Seed" menu without the need to replace ISFarmingMenu.lua.
-Adds new crop types without the need to change farming_vegetableconf.lua.
-Uses specific grow functions for each crop type, without the need to reference them directly in basicFarming.lua.
-Allows custom growing stage descriptions (seedling, young, ready for harvest, and so on) for each stage, Check corn for examples.
-Allows custom plants to remain in a spot when harvested just like strawberries. They revert to the growing stage number defined in "retainOnHarvest" for that crop type.
Here are some ideas for future versions in case people want them:
-Customizable resistance or weakness to diseases for each crop type.
-Plant types that don’t use seeds with their separate "sow" menu.
-Spice plants that can be "harvested" frequently, like Basil or Rosemary.
Known bugs and issues:
-Custom icons used for crops show as a white square in the plant info window.
