Christian Warrior Society
This mod adds a Christian Warrior Lodge called "The Champions of Christ", that functions pretty much identical to the pagan Warrior Lodges added by Holy Fury. In fact currently it’s mostly a carbon copy of the Hellenics’ Olympian Champions with some adjustments, this might change in the future if I add more flavor.
The Christian Warrior Society (CWS) is not active in any start date and the AI will never create it, so the player will have to take up the duty to create it. To do so you need to match the requirements for the creation decision:
- Hidden Requirements:
- Must be adult
- Must be in the Christian religious group.
- Society cannot already exist.
- Cannot be in pacifist religion.
- Must not be random world with random religion names
Visible Requirements:
- Cannot be in a society already
- Cannot be Incapable
- Must have an martial education
- Must have an martial lifestyle trait (Duelist, Hunter or Strategist) or alternatively 25 martial. This was added to make it a little bit harder to create it for most characters.
- Must at least be of King-tier.
- Martial must at least be 20.
- Must not be busy.
- Must afford the scaled cost (scaled_wealth = 0.75)
- Must afford the prestige cost (1500)
- Must be player
The "Battlefield Sacrifice"-feature has currently been disabled as I feel like that mechanic matches the pagan Warrior Lodges exclusively better.

Should be compatible with most mods, expect for overhaul mods and other mods that alters some of the vanilla files associated with the warrior lodges.
HIP compatible version (Frosty1) HERE[1drv.ms]. Just unzip it in your CK2 mod folder in Documents.

I’ll eventually try to make of use of fewer vanilla files where possible in the future.
There is no need to start a new game for this mod, just load it up and you should get the decision to create the Champions of Christ if you meet the necessary criteria for it.
Though, please keep in mind that if you deactivate the mod after forming the society there is a decent chance issues/crashes may occur with any affected/modded saves.
CWS unfortunately alters the checksum out of necessity, so this mod is NOT achievement friendly.
