British Railways Class 44, 45 & 46 ‘Peak’
These 3 classes were all externally identical but were fitted with different engines and transmissions. They were known as ‘Peaks’ because the original class 44s were all named after various mountains. Other names for these locomotives include ‘Sulzers’ and ‘Derbies’. They were among the first diesel trains on British Railways.

45149 (Preserved at the GWSR) :
– Available 1960
– Top speed 90mph
– 2500 HP
46010 (Preserved)
– Available 1961
– Top speed 90mph
– 2500 HP
All in BR Blue livery. Work on BR Green liveries will begin soon – although if anyone wants to do it that’d be great, drop me a PM 😉
I reckon this is my best mod yet. You could say I’ve reached…. peak performance…
