[Fungal Hound Mini-boss]
Adds a new mini-boss
There is a distinct lack of mini-bosses in Darkest Dungeon, only 3 if you have Crimson Court. This mod adds another mini-boss that is exclusive to the weald. This mini-boss has no special conditions to fulfill in order to fight it, making it slightly more common than the other mini-bosses.
The Fungal Hound is the horrific product of the Hag, whose sole purpose is to spread as much of the parasitic fungus around. It’s speed and mobility is unmatched, but if you’re lucky enough to land a hit it’s relatively weak. The Hound can summon inhibiting mushrooms and other dogs with just a howl, choose who is targeted carefully.
The Hound always drops a trinket, but there are a limit to how many you can have. (4 common, 3 uncommon, 2 rare, 1 very rare)
UPDATE: Added compatibility for Herbs of the Wild [HotW]. The Hound now drops Fungi when defeated if you have HotW
Known Issues: The Very Rare Trinket disables you from using guarding or healing skills on the hero that equips it. There are no visual cues to this, but the blocked skills are grayed out and you will not be able to use them.
Notes: The Fungal Hound will only spawn in hallways like the other 3 mini-bosses and can only spawn in the weald.
Not 100% sure on mod compatibility. Does not add any new files, so it should be compatible with almost everything. I wouldn’t try it with anything like PBD though.
