Yet another tech-up mod, now it’s time to raise up Iberia!
This mod includes new unit upgrades as well as shield fixes of Iberian vanilla units.
- 12 new unit upgrades (7 land, 5 naval)
- fixed mismatch between equiped shields and list entries for some Iberian units
- all Iberian and Celtiberian factions affected
- scutarii and shield warriors now available for Iberian and Celtiberian factions, garrison fixed
- garrisons affected by unit upgrades, growing in size and strength
- technologies in different trees got upgrade abilities
- compatible with most other mods (no other version needed for Sebidee’s unit mod)

Research "Servants of the Elite" to equip your Scutarii with better armour and give them better training. Of course they want a little bid more money afterwards.
Like for swordsmen you get this upgrade for Scutarii Spears.
This upgrade transforms your Scutarii Cavalry in heavy cavalry with much better charge.
With "Headhunt" your skirmishers become elite units with crest armour, higher morale, accurracy and melee stats.
Upgrade your tribesmen with "Large defences". These guards are armed with multiple javelins and a sturdy spear for close combat.
Give your guards the best armor and give you the best protection. You need "Enclosed Settlement" for this powerfull upgrade.
Upgrade the Veteran Shield Warriors into a true elite with better armour. All you need is "Death in Battle" and a few coins more but you get a superior infantry.
For some reasons Iberian scutarii troups have caestra shields in the vanilla tables. Shield Warriors wear shields with 5 armour whilce scutarii have 30. Beside the unit upgrades this mod fixes the shield entries for all affected Iberian units. Shield Warriors get large shields with high armour and defense stats. All units get the entries for the shields they use. Little changes in shield armour and melee defense might happen due to the changes.

Compatibility
The mod is compatible with most other mods. It overwrites the land_units entries for some Iberian units. The mod is designed for vanilla Grand Campaign, Imperator Augustus and Caesar in Gaul. I doubt it works with overhauls like DEI.
