Description:

The Hunnic invasion has been overhauled. The Huns are now fun to play as and to fight against.

Features:

– The Hunnic faction is split into two: Attila’s Huns and Bleda’s Huns.

– They will not spawn free armies, so fighting them isn’t pointless anymore. The Huns can be destroyed!

– Attila is immortal but does not have any special buff either. He will only die when his faction is completely annihilated.

– Romanized Barbarians have roman building chain! No more crappy barbarian buildings replacing state-of-the-art infrastructure!

– Roman horde faction uses Rome 2-style auxiliary system. Recruit any units from foreign lands!

– Crap ton of new units for existing and new factions!

– Eastern Roman Empire is now a mighty empire instead of a virtual punching bag. They have more vassals to compensate for the game’s limited AI, in that they cannot maintain a large empire by themselves. They should have enough firepower to compete with the Sassanid Empire and friends.

– There are 2 playable Alani factions. One migrated to the west to become a Western Roman Empire foederati ally. The other stayed at Sarmatia. Settled Alans are much more westernized as reflected by their Romanized buildings and units.

– New playable factions: Aestii, Abasgia, Britain, Armenia, Heruli, Southern Burgundians, Anglo-Saxon and Senate Loyalists (Roman Republic).

– New Craftworks resource.

– Extra resource added to some regions in the campaign map. (ex. Pict’s capital has Craftworks)

– Very Heavy Cavalry running speed fixed from vanilla game.

– Extra mercenary units added into the game. Hispania, Italia and Macedonia provides unique mercenaries instead of generic Germanic units.

– Roman military traditions buffed up by a little. This benefits Romans and romanized barbarians.

– AI Army configuration overhauled. ex: Huns will create a balanced army of infantry and cavalry to better reflect their invasion of Europe. Western Alans and other settled Barbarians will also adapt.

– Some new factions that can be liberated (Italia, Syracuse, and Gortyna areas)

– White Huns can now build a mixture of barbarian and eastern buildings for a unique gameplay.
