Description:
WOTC version — Adds Shield Vests into the game.

This is an adaptation of Kenshin’s long-abandoned "Shield Vest" mod (but updated for WOTC) and LionsFate’s "Cheat Vest" mod.

Shield Vests can be purchased from Engineering.

— Shield Vest (Series 1) —
Cost = 100 Supplies
Shield Points (SP) = 5 SP

Currently there is only 1 variant. I intend to add more variants later. All variants recharge 1 SP per turn. Shields will start at 1 HP when beginning a mission, then charge up to 5. This isn’t something I can fix right now.

Extremely configurable in the INIs – you can do some crazy stuff with it. (If you make ini tweaks, back up the folder, as it will be overwritten when I eventually update)

Requires Charmed’s "Armor & Vest Config" mod and RealityMachinima’s "Asari Adepts" — without these mods, shields cannot recharge mid-mission. (If you don’t want the Asari enemies in your game, you can remove them from spawn distribution lists in that mod’s folder. If you modify Asari Adept’s shield capacity or regen rate, it will apply to Shields Vests as well – they share the same ability.)

100% safe to enable at any time. Pairs well with Passive HP Regen.
