Remove Global Warming Effects
Do you have a dad, relative, or otherwise who complains about global warming being "fake"? Maybe you have intense existential anxiety and dread? Perhaps you just don’t like the mechanic? Whatever your reasons, this is the mod for you! It increases the CO2 required to raise the temperature by a factor of 500,000 (one five-hundred-thousandth of the original speed)!
If you only want to be rid of sea level rise, and don’t care about the other effects which this mod staves off, then you can use the mod Not (yet) Another Maps Pack and then while setting up the game you can select "none" for coastal generation settings, which should eliminate flooding due to change in sea level. (Note: I have not personally tested this method and cannot vouch for it’s reliability.)
I do not disregard climate change or its effects and I actually advocate environmental protection measures, I only made this mod for those who would rather not have to deal with the issue in the game.
This is just a tweaked version of JNR’s "3x Slower Global Warming" mod, I take no credit for the work behind this.
