This mod introduces a new custom Legendary Lord Prince Rakaph III for Tomb Kings and revamps his faction.



This mod introduces a new custom Legendary Lord, Prince Rakaph III, and his faction. The mod takes the AI Tomb Kings minor faction Rakaph Dynasty and makes a number of changes such as giving the faction ambush in default stance, hidden settlements, custom techs, custom starting army, factional mount options, faction specific bonuses and has a significantly more active campaign AI. This mod is for the Mortal Empires map only.

To play the faction download Mixu’s Unlocker, or the faction does quite well as just another AI faction now in the background (thanks to the new aggressive AI settings). This mod will work absolutely fine with the SFO Compatibility submod.

Custom Legendary Lord Prince Rakaph III based out of the lore from the Tomb Kings 8th Edition Army book has been included, with a Warsphinx theme based off his army of Warsphinxes used in his story to avenge his father. Four unique custom items to unlock for him and use, along with six custom & unique skills.

Ambush in Default stance to the Rakaph Dynasty.

Hidden Settlements The mod not only gives the Rakaph Dynasty hidden settlements, but also actually changes the settlement reveal itself for all factions to a more generic picture and generic event text.

Faction bonuses – A Sand Veil themed set of faction bonuses, based around the faction ambush/hidden style.

Factional Mount Options: Rakaph Dynasty Tomb Princes and Necrotects have Khemrian Warsphinx as a Mount option.

Factional Spells Priests of the Lore of Nehekhara can spec into a new factional sub-lore: The Lore of Khsar, with a number of faction unique effects.

Custom Faction Technologies 18 new technologies to research, based around the Khemrian Warsphinx theme.

New replacement starting army Rakaph Dynasty now has a decent starting army for Prince Rakaph III including a Warsphinx and a couple of Tomb Guard.

More Aggressive AI This mod attempts to give the AI the fun turbo-charged Belegar/Skarsnk task generation system and AI settings, which should lead to a much more aggressive playstyle by the faction when an AI.


Many thanks to Deco for adding Rakaph Dynasty to his Tomb King Regiments of Renown mod, very apprecaited. It’s a great mod and a staple of my own games. well worth a look.

  • Faction-specific Khemrian Warsphinx mounts for Tomb Princes & Necrotects
  • Faction specific extension of Lore of Nehekhara sub-lore: Lore of Khsar
  • Faction to have early dilemma & choice to declare war on Numas to regain Throne. (Long term)
  • Early game Faction specific Missions & bonuses based around re-taking Numas (Long term)
  • Recruitable Crimson King from Lords pool. (Long term)

Bugfix list/to-do

  • Minor visual bug on diplomacy screen with LL turned wrong way
  • Portholes, read guide, sort tools, impliment
  • Resolve Custom Lord chariot/steed issue for next update
  • Resolve CTD issue when loading up battle on a steed with LL

I’ve had recently far, far too many false positive bug reports. This is frustrating as I do try and investigate every report of a bug and actively attempt to correct issues when I can. So when reporting a bug, you must disable all other mods and see if the issue still occurs. Verify that you’ve done this in your comment and give the relevant details: who, what, when, where, etc.. If you don’t specifically verify that you have done this I may simply delete your bug-report comment.

In many ways I’m sorry I have to go to these lengths, as it could set an incorrect and very misleading tone for how I approach feedback to my mods, as user feedback and reporting of bugs is very, very important to the process of improving the mod for everyone. But unfortunately false positive bug reports are quite time consuming and are ultimately a complete waste of my time when I could be instead modding and creating new things, and I’ve had far too many of them lately.
