Better Veterans
I always thought that grizzled veterans should be worth more than they are in the vanilla game, so this small mod changes several small things concerning unit ranks:
– higher gain of melee attack, melee defence, morale and accuracy with every level
– less xp needed for ranks
The result should be that veterans (even if they are levies) should hold themselves quite well against newly recruited elite units, although the elites should win in the end because of their superior weapons and armour.
This mod is save game compatible.
