More Papal Actions
Paradox should have added more Pope interactions in a DLC focused on the HRE and Catholicism.
In this mod, I’ve nerfed the Investigate Heresy button while also adding a variety of new ways for the Pope to filch money from the curia.
Each costs a base of 250 Curia ducats and will also inflict a temporary relations penalty of -10 on Catholic nations.
* Ecclesiastical Construction (grants 10 years of -5% building cost)
* Donate to the Poor (improves relations with all Catholic nations by 20 [this one does not inflict the relations penalty])
* Establish Nunciates (+1 Diplo rep and 1 relations slot for 10 years)
* Bless Soldiers of God (+2.5% shock and +2.5% fire damage for 10 years)
* Emphasize Temporal Authority (-25% stability cost modifier for 10 years)
* Bonuses for Papal Service (two years of manpower)
