Fetishism Expanded
This mod aims to improve Fetishism, a religion that is often considered to be low teir, in a very simple way.
This is done by expanding the cult system such that, after unlocking certain groups of cults, an event will fire unlocking a "combination" cult that provides powerful modifiers.
Currently there are 4 different combination cults:
Pan-Africanism:
Conditions: Unlocked all 9 African Fetishist cults
Bonuses:
+2 Diplomatic reputation
+7.5% Discipline
-4 National unrest
Abrahamic Syncretism:
Conditions: Unlocked the Christian and Islamic cults
Bonuses:
+25% Domestic trade power
+10% Institution spread
-10% Advisor cost (if Jewish cult is also unlocked)
Pagan Syncretism:
Conditions: Any 2 cults unlocked out of Nahuatl/Mayan, Zoroastrian, and Norse
Bonuses:
+5% Morale of armies (with Nahuatl/Mayan cult)
+2 Tolerance of heathens (with Norse cult)
+2 Merchants (with Zoroastrian cult)
Universalism:
Conditions: Unlocked the Abrahamic, Mahayana/Theravada/Vajrayana/Confucian/Shinto, Hindu/Sikh, and Nahuatl/Mayan cults
Bonuses:
+100% Religious unity
+10% Admin efficiency
-20% Development cost
I’m aware that some of these modifiers may be overpowered and I will likely tweak them. I also may add more fetishist events, etc. in the future. This is my first workshop upload so suggestions are welcome!
