Mechanica (Themed Star Shape)
The Star Shape always felt very alien to me, almost futuristic. I figured I’d make something out of it and decided to theme it to some kind of futuristic steampunk-ish machine, especially since the star itself reminds me of a cogwheel. Even if I don’t really like the ride (it’s way to rough on you) it still looks super cool – this wierd-looking thing towering above you. I think it looks especially nice on top of a hill, adding even more height to it.
There is a Star Shape named Mechanica at Liseberg in Gothenburg, Sweden. It has a different theming (18th century Gothenburg – although I don’t really see how?), but I honestly think the name is better suited for a strange machine from the future and couldn’t come up with anything better myself.
I made sure the decoration only uses items från the Generic and Steamworks categories – I hope.
I also put a toilet in there because idk, I just felt like there should be one there.
