Pangaia
The map aims to give the players the pure survival feeling of the first ARK map and will be extended with many different and dangerous biomes in the future always with focus on nature. There will be relaxing beaches, dense jungle, beautiful forests, swamps, caves, a large underwater area, hills, mountains and much more. I will also add new content that has not been in the game before.
At this point the map is already well playable. The goal for the next months is a map that contains all the resources needed to meet the challenges ahead. Also the landscape sculpting will be finished and the detail work like decorating with meshes, adding foliage and dino spawns will be done. After that some caves and the underwater area will follow.
This map will not be easy to pass, but there will be plenty of nice areas to prepare for the upcoming battles.
Information:
– This is my first map so don’t be too critical. I’m learning as I create 😉
– It is safe to build on the beaches in the north. All other regions could still be revised.
– The level of detail will be continuously refined with future updates.
– Pangaia is not fully optimzed for performance yet.
