Lore Friendly Weapons (Weapon Glow Removal)
Welcome to
A complete revamp of all weapon effects to be closer to the lore of Warhammer Fantasy!
- Removes non-lore weapon effects from Lords, Heroes, and other Units
- Affects Campaign Map as well
- Designed to be Lore Friendly
- 100% Save Game Compatible
- Slightly improved FPS ingame (due to removal of some taxing effects)
- Subscribe to Lore Friendly Weapons here on the Steam Workshop (this is to support the mod)
- Go to: Daelin’s Mods[www.dropbox.com] and download @lorefriendlyweapons_real.pack
- Place the @lorefriendlyweapons_real.pack into your D:Steam Librarysteamappsworkshopcontent594570 (whichever folder number is your Warhammer 2 directory)
- You should have three files: @lorefriendlyweapons.pack, @lorefriendlyweapons.png, and @lorefriendlyweapons_real.pack, then you’re good to go
- Unsubscribe from Lore Friendly Weapons on Steam Workshop
- Delete @lorefriendlyweapons_real.pack and make sure @lorefriendlyweapons.pack and @lorefriendlyweapons.png are removed from the Data folder, then you’re good to go
Disclaimer: This mod on the Steam Workshop is an empty mod, it is because VFX mods (Movie Mods) cannot be uploaded to Steam Workshop as they will be converted into a regular mod which will not function. So I made this filler mod to exist so I can upload my Lore Friendly Weapons mod to the Steam Workshop Community! Thanks!
This is my preset of choice for all my screenshotting needs, it has the best visuals I’ve seen in a preset (GemFX/ReShade/SweetFX/ENB). Doesn’t matter, this GemFX v1.09 Preset by my friend Attila (Steam)/Little Legionaire (TW Center) is the most superior choice (In my humble opinion). Please always credit him for the creation and for the use of this mod, thank you!
