Description:
Features:

This mod adds the ability to craft Runes, Banners and Followers to the Dwarfs via CA’s existing "Forge" mechanic. Runes and Banners are under the same category "Runes". Each items has a requirement in resources and a cost, similar to the crafted items from the original Forge.

In addition, the new DLC allowed the ability to upgrade troops with additional bonuses. As such, it is now possible, after paying some Oathgold, to tailor your armies for the incoming threat. Each unit has at least 1 defensive or 1 offensive option, with some like the miners and ironbreakers a bonus to their special ranged weapons.

Compatibility :

This Mod should be compatible with existing saves and most other mods. However, because I had to resort to create "dummies" for the banners and runes, this mod should be placed first in the order of mod (in front of overhauls too). This will allow the description to be showed in the Forge, for exemple the "Banner of Eternal Flame". At the same time, this place will allow all the actual modification to be overwritten by the overhauls, like the vanilla pack would be. That said, if you have any mods which include broken scripts, the UI will definitely not function and you will see "Weapons" and "Recycle" stepping out of the window. Removing this mod in the middle of your campaign will likely cause issues.

Current Issues :

I don’t know how to script. I try to "burrow" a script from some mods, unfortunately, none of them worked. In fact, I can’t seems to even make them work in their own mods, with numerous tries. So, until I create such script or a kind soul help me obtain one, the categories will stay too big for the window of the Forge. It is only a visual issue, not a gameplay one.

With thanks to:

The modding community and the Discord Modding Den, with special thanks to Cataph and WilliamCA.

Also no plans to only give upgrades. Mainly because I don’t exactly know which tables I should remove or not to not make everything a mess. Funny that it is easier to just add the upgrade mechanics into a crafting mod than create it from the scratch.
