Description:

Heroes in Halmlet was slowly dying into madness because of the crimson curse.
Paracelsus, a genius medicine doctor and plague doctor, uncovered the secret of the crimson curse after a long study.
The crimson curse was a disease that the parasites lurking in the host enter person’s organ and spread the fungus.
However, Paracelsus discovered that When the attenuated parasite entering to person, and after 3~4 weeks the parasite has died. Then the infected person is found to be immune to the crimson curse.

Now In Abbey you can buy vaccines and vaccinate your heroes to immune to the crimson curse.
Because the total number of heroes leaving the expedition is limited to 4, you can vaccinate 4 heroes max per week. The vaccine syringe is free to use.

When you inject a vaccine to your hero, hero have a positive quirk called "Vaccinated". It’s Attenuated Crimson Curse. From this time, incubation period begins and hero is immune to the crimson curse.
This quirk can not be replaced by other quirks. But it can be removed in a sanitarium or by using Cure item from fanatic. ‘Vaccinated’ quirk occupies one slot of positive quirks so you should give careful consideration to injecting vaccine.

Even though Injected parasite is an attenuated parasite, it is a pest that causes the crimson curse. So the hero receives extreme debuff during the incubation period. After the vaccination, do not send hero to the dungeon until hero is recovered completely.
When hero idles in town, incubation period will progress and parasite will die.
When hero is in dungeon, incubation period will not progress.

The "Vaccinated" quirk is divided into 2 stages.

= Cause Extreme stat debuff. A visual effect that the parasite stays actively occurs to the hero.

= hero returns to normal state. Visual effects to the hero disappear.

Conclusionally, after vaccination you can not use hero properly for 2 weeks. Even if you send hero to dungeon, the incubation period does not progress and hero can’t fight well.

1.Vaccine syringes do not give any effect to the hero who already has the crimson curse. because vaccine is not a cure to get rid of a patient’s disease.
2.Although vaccinated hero don’t suffer from Normal Crimson Curse, still suffer from Attenuated Crimson Curse. So non-infected hero will be infected to the crimson curse if is in the same building with the vaccinated hero.
