Description:

A mod aiming to expand tactical side of the game. It is currently in its earliest stage and doesn’t really do much.

The idea is to introduce more ways to utilise your resources and units mainly by using new abilities. Kinda make other factions as fun to use as Tau I guess. There’re some tweaks to native game balance too (cost changes, tech tree and hero skills adjustments).

While I would love to think this mod will make the game more balanced I’m pretty sure it won’t. Nonetheless it should at the very least breath some life into units and upgrades that are rarely seen in a base game as well as give you new options to deal with old threats. I would appreciate any feedback especially about gamebreaking things because I would love to make this mod as balance-friendly as possible.

I really love Gladius Devs and the work they do and especially their accuracy at translating tabletop rules. They’re really great to the point that apparently Gladius meta shifts toward units that are better at tabletop too. That said, this mod doesn’t aim to stay as close to tabletop as native game does. It does try to stay as lore friendly as possible though.

For the time being I will keep Changes.txt in the main directory of the mod as well as post any new changes in discussions.
