Integrated Graphics Map Fix

What does it do?

This mod fixes an issue with the map for some players with integrated graphics cards. The map is distorted and covered in rectangular bars (as seen in the picture). This mod fixes the problem. The mod replaces the heightmap files to make them compatible with integrated graphics cards. Laptop users rejoice!

Who is it for?

If the picture looks familiar then it’s for you. If you have no problems with the map this won’t do anything for you. If you’re playing on an older machine and are looking for an fps boost this won’t help you. It’s not a performance mod.

What else you need to now:

-This mod was created by Mangas and uploaded to Paradox Mods [mods.paradoxplaza.com] . I am uploading it here with Mangas‘ permission.

-The terrain textures might look a little…ugly. As Mangas says, they might be a blurry, low-res mess but as always there’s a mod for that. A few actually. They all add solid realm colours so it will look a bit nicer (and also more useful!) Here are some suggestions:

FAQ

Is it achievement compatible?

Hell no! I can’t do anything about that. The only people who can are Paradox, take it up with them.

Updates?

I will update the mod when patches are released so you won’t get those annoying ‘wrong version’ messages. If Mangas makes any update to the mod I will update it here. It should be future proof (unless Paradox decides to add a brand new mountain range somewhere or they add the lost continent of Atlantis).
