My own little tweak for the climate of some regions on the Mortal Empires campaign map (a total of 22 settlements affected). Instead of going for a more lore-friendly approach, like Leylos’ Full Climate Overhaul mod, I wanted to streamline the provinces so that most of them have one contiguous climate for all the included settlements. Apart from changes to individual settlements, I have also incorporated Leylos’ climate restrictions added to Savage Orcs (slightly tweaked) and Wood Elfs as well as having changed some factions climate preferences (based on Leylos’ changes, but tweaked).

Since the update on 2018-01-10, this mod now includes changes to how the AI makes decisions on different climates in terms of occupation and such (imported from Leylos’ mod).

The current climate suitability for all factions, and sub factions when there are several of them (like for the High Elves, Human factions and Tomb Kings), are listed below:

Dark Elves:

Suitable: Frozen, Island, Chaos Wasteland, Savannah (Lokhir Fellheart), Jungle (Lokhir Fellheart)
Unsuitable: Temperate, Jungle, Mountain, Savannah, Chaos Wasteland (Lokhir Fellheart)

Note: The Badlands were not chipped away as massively as it might seem. The climate map for vanilla ME I took had some mountain settlements that were (from what I could see) miscolored as Wasteland.
