Description:

Update October 08: Lots of goodies in this update. The Cult of Pleasure gets 11 new Chaos units, recruitable from the Cult of Pleasure building. These include a variety of Hung marauders and Slaanesh Warriors/knights. More will be on the way for the Dark Elves and the Cult of Pleasure in the future. A couple of minor fixes done, enabling recruitment of Skink Cold One riders and putting a campaign cap on all swarm units.

The Empire work continues with Averland getting Stadtsnekct (Cheaper low-tier knights), a unique skin for huntsmen and a Powderjack unit that buffs nearby artillery, all based on the graphic novel ‘Crown of Destruction’, plus all provinces gain access to Tilean mercenary Pikemen and Crossbowmen. The mercenaries have slightly better than normal stats, but are more expensive and take up high-tier slots in your army. There will be a great deal more Empire work in the coming months, especially after the release of ‘Curse of the Vampire Coast’ and all the lovely new assets that will be coming with that DLC.

Lastly, this update sees the introduction of the Ghorgon to the beastman roster! This unit is still somewhat in beta testing for its stats, so let me know your opinions on it. Also, the second set of arms will occaisonally disconnect from the main body a little, but hopefully this will not be immersion breaking for anyone.

How deep can one delve into Warhammer lore and history? The answer, dear Alice, may surprise you…

This mod aims to add units from the Warhammer lore, White Dwarf articles, and old editions that are still lore-friendly and expand the rosters of every faction. This mod is made and balanced for Steel Faith Overhaul, but anyone who wants to make a vanilla or Radious version is welcome to. Initially I will focus on units that I have not seen in any other unit packs or mods, but there may eventually be some crossover.

SFO now Required! As requested I have added the SFO abilities to my units, so the main mod is now required.

So far 178 units covering Skaven, The Empire, Wood Elves, Dwarfs, Lizardmen, Beastmen, Norsca, Greenskins and Vampire Counts. The detailed descriptions are in the pinned discussion below.

Future Plans:

Almost done with Skaven and Lizardmen. Future work will include more Empire units and delving into the rosters of the Beastmen, Undead and Orcs with a smattering of planned Wood Elf units.

Teamup! I am not an artist in the 2d sense or 3d sense. I will be attempting to do some custom skins as this mod progresses, but I have no delusions of grandeur. So if any skinners out there are interested in helping out, let me know!
