Description:

Here’s a mod that adds Bridge districts to the game. They work exactly like the Golden Gate Bridge does, except without all the wonder crap. Have fun!

Many thanks to Sukritact for helping immensely with the code and the model (read: held my hand through the lua process and actually made the model), and to Leugi for assisting and providing invaluable feedback. Also thanks to Pouakai, for providing feedback and needing to be explained how the mod works 4 times. Turns out, it’s pretty hard to make a bridge district in Civ 6!

On that note, this code is pretty janky because of the way Wonders work in Civilization 6. Wonders are not in the game as their own separate category, or listed as districts in Civ 6. Rather, they are "placeable buildings", and as such you can only have one per city. There are two pieces of data that distinguish wonders from regular buildings, and those would be "IsWonder" set to true and "RequiresPlacement" set to true. However, "RequiresPlacement" already causes all wonder-specific effects to take effect and causes the wonder popup. If this is confusing and seems like it doesn’t make sense, that’s because you’re right and it doesn’t. I’m gonna be working on a better way to do this later because this way sucks, but I wanna focus on other projects now that I have a lot more time for them.

Anyways…
