Vinny’s Blackest Enemy Overhaul
After countless cycles of bloodshed and death, the heart of the world has been corrupted beyond any sane human’s wildest imaginations. The types of these creatures have morphed, planting and harvesting core components of their being. The brains of these creatures have been lobotomized and refashioned, giving them intelligence far beyond what was once had. And of most import, the flesh and soul of many of the strongest creatures on this plane have been shifted, giving them powers beyond compare, and taking away just as much. It is time for the true test of mettle, the final cycle. Welcome… to the Blackest Overhaul.
Every boss in the game has been tweaked, every enemy slid in a more interesting direction, and moves of these foul creatures have been given a tune up. The changes are so numerous it would be impossible for me to go over everything, so I highly encourage those of you brave enough to download this mod to experiment and check out every monster in the game. Some have been made easier, others harder, but I’ve tried to make sure none are unfair or boring.
Due to this being such a massive overhaul, it requires a fresh save to attain the full effects and tweaks made by it. It is also not compatible with things that change enemies, such as Farmstead+ and Courtyard+. In addition, anything that affects the bosses or other enemies is a risky bet to try, so this mod is essentially on its own when it comes to other balance tweaks to the enemy side of this game. Anything that adds new enemies should be good however!
