Modular refinery pack
This pack contains one micro refinery, and two modular refineries built with microrefinery modules.
The microrefinery is based on multiple microrefineries found in Russia, the US, and China, but the main inspiration was the plant on the M3Wfuel website.
To Easternize it, I made the smokestack and some structures out of prefabs because they were common and cheap in the Eest. Today these structures would probably be made of metal.
Advantages:
– Modular refineries allow you to use all the oil without shipping the excess crude or wasting refining capacity
– Perfect for small deposits or distant places
– Very small, so it can fit in near a chemical plant, or on a hill without any issue
– The microrefinery can supply fuel for all the vehicles in a Republic of roughly 20k-50k people, perfect for your newly industrialized Republic
– The modular design means it is built faster (total workdays / production) than the main plant despite the lack of scale
Disadvantages:
– Requires more workers per unit oil
– Slightly more expensive to build per unit oil
– Uses more power per unit oil
– Low amount of storage space included in the refinery
– Fewer connections require more support infrastructure
The modular refineries reduce some of the disadvantages, but also decrease some of the advantages.
