This makes NPC gate guards lock the gate (for an hour) when they aggro at you… as the video (watch on 2x) shows. Honestly I was just thinking of ways to make assassination bit harder, so it’s less easy to just outrun everyone.

Talk to me if something works weird or with any suggestions.

It gives the guards a "timed contract" with an alternate AI that tells them to lock the gate, when some dialogue triggers. Triggers are: see escaping slave (player), see ally kidnapped and see enemy faction (player). It is in theory possible to trigger for npc-on-npc aggression too, one limitation is that contracts can’t last 15 minutes or anything, only full hours. It’s possible for them to be distracted or for some other dialogue to trigger… then the contract doesn’t start. When contract ends they reopen the gate, as long as one of them can make it to the gate.
