The Sm 42 produce by Fablok Chrzanów was a Polish diesel locomotive used extensively by Polskie Linie Kolejowe (PKP) from 1967 and are still in service today. Today other operators such a DB Cargo Polska and Lotos run these locomotives on freight services.
