Lore of Undeath 2
This mod aims to make vampire counts feel like more of a threat. As it stands in warhammer 2 vampire counts have had the least love from CA and the power of necromancy seems extreemly weak when it comes to reanimation and healing. As of yet i am still to see a single model revive from the dead during a vanilla battle. This is not acceptible.
What you will see is:
Necromancers and vampires being the main focus of the force and your attention.
More spells being utilised.
Fallen troops being resurrected more and in larger chunks.
Solong as the summoner is ‘alive’ you will be hardpressed to win. They just won’t stay dead for long.
Tips for battling against the dead –
Focus everything on the lord and/or necromancers
Don’t let your elite units get ‘tar pitted’.
Strike hard and fast if possible. (sorry dwarfs)
Split your force for longer engagments.
Make them waste magic.
Fighting in a battle line isn’t going to get you very far.
Keep the necromancer away from his forces.
Use miscast modifiers against vampires and necromancers.
So, Here we are. Round 2.
-You will see a large cost reduction across all lore of vampires spells.
-The AI will use healing spells more often. (And all lore of vampire spells generally)
-Healing ammount increased by 100%
-Lodestone passive added to heinrich kemmler
-Movment speed from vanhels dance increased by 500%
-More powerful overcast of gaze of nagash
-High level users of lore of vampires can achive next to free casts on raise dead
All these and more planned
Changes from warhammer 1 version :
I have reinstated the heal cap, this is to achive compatibility with SFO
I have lowered the ammount of healing alittle bit (let me know what you think)
Plans for the future
I plan to create a more powerful version but with the drawback that undead cannot run only walk and charge.(like in the table top) let me know if that is somthing you would like to see.
