“In the far future, on some Ultratech worlds, the death of one’s biological body no longer means the end. Due to implants called “Cortical Stacks” ones consciousness is no longer stored in the brain, but on the implant. If your body dies, you can simply extract the stack and install it in a new body. Extending your life for as long as your stack is intact.
But on Rimworld’s, this tech is rare, but it still can be found from time to time!”
Ultratech is a series that aims to add new technologies and gameplay mechanics to Rimworld in a vanilla friendly way.
This is a optional Armoury module for the Ultratech: Altered Carbon mod, adding weapons and the iconic armour from the TV-Show. This mod can be used WITHOUT the main Ultratech: Altered Carbon mod.
Here is a quick overview of what we are adding:
Q: Can the mod be added to existing saves?
A: Yes!
Q: Why did you move the weapons and armour to its own mod?
A: Because a lot of people asked for it. Plus it doesn’t matter. No DefNames where changed so it wont hurt any saves. This way people can choose more what they want and what they dont want.
Q: Do I need the main mod for it?
A: No, you can use this mod without the main mod if you only want the weapons and armour!
Q: Will existing CE patches still work?
A: As of now, they should work fine. No DefNames where changed.
