Description:

Charcoal is a microporous, high-carbon product formed during the pyrolysis of wood without air access.
Finished coal is composed primarily of carbon. The advantage of using charcoal instead of conventional wood burning is the absence of water and other components. This allows charcoal to burn at higher temperatures and emits very little smoke (regular wood gives off large amounts of steam, organic volatiles and unburned carbon particles).
During the pyrolysis of wood (450-500 ° C), a number of substances are formed: charcoal, methanol, acetic acid, acetone, resins, and others.
Charcoal is classified in the system of standards – GOST 7657-84 "Charcoal".
It is used for purification, separation, extraction of various substances, as an antiseptic, purifier, water absorber. For example, in the production of crystalline silicon, carbon disulfide, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, activated carbon, as a household fuel, in horticulture, indoor floriculture and for the production of organic fertilizer terra preta.

There are two buildings in the game made from a brick factory.
The first plant – produces wood charcoal. In this case, the resulting charcoal is mostly burned in the boiler room and heat is obtained. You can heat nearby houses (preferably, of course, appropriate to the style of the plant itself). There are no connections, everything will have to be brought up by road. Along the way, chemicals are obtained in small quantities. But a dozen such factories will be able to provide your republic with a small amount of chemicals.

The second plant is a thermal power plant. Provides electricity (albeit on a small scale) to a small village. There is an outlet for power lines. Coal (it is on it that the power plant works) is also transported by road.

These buildings are intended for small settlements, workers’ settlements, as well as suburbs with low-rise buildings. To provide heat and electricity to the village of woodcutters, for example.
