DeI Performance Patch [Test]
Hello,
This mod is for testing purpose to help out people that have large performance drops with DeI.
From initial tests some people got up to +20 FPS! On High end machines there shouldn’t be much difference if they already handle DeI with no major drops.
This mod removes stamina buttons from DeI but does not change anything with how fatigue affects units so this is still very important for unit performance in battle.
Why this was done?
Some time ago people already discovered that hiding unit flags helps with FPS on Rome 2 but thanks to help from our good friend Benijn (Rome 2 HD mods, AAA generals and more), we now know more…
Turns out little effects buttons that show next to unit flag, like phalanx being turned on, general ability applies or…Stamina are being tracked by game in the weird way. Basically game constantly calculates their position to be placed next to the flag which causes performance drops.

At worst, we will leave this as a submod for people to enjoy DeI better at small price of stamina buttons 🙂
