Description:

This is a combined reskin of the Kingdoms in the World Edge Mountains.
It reskins Karaz-a-Karak, Karak Kadrin, Zhufbar, Karak Azul and Barak Varr.

Clan Angrund is the clan of Belegar Ironhammer, who is a the direct descendant of King Lunn, the last Dwarf to rule Karak Eight Peaks before its fall. Since that time, Belegar has dedicated his life to reclaiming Karak Eight Peaks. He proclaimed himself King and fortified his position, encamping his forces into the wreckage of the once mighty surface structures of Karak Eight Peaks. There he remains, defiant and in a constant state of siege. From out of this slender foothold.

Barak Varr is the only dwarven portcity in the world, so the dwarves there are more outgoing and adventurous then most other dwarfs. They are also richer and like to show the wealth openly. The Ungdrin Ankor is their only connection to the rest of the dwarf realm, which is why, Barak Varr ironbreaker is their most elite and prestigious throng of warriors. I have chosen to make the ironbreakers look like a celebrated warriorband from a rich hold with finely decorated armor and helmets. The warriors are more dark looking as they also crew the dwarven warfleet and spend time on the water as well as land.

Karak Azul is the last stronghold to stand upbroken in the southern World Edge Mountains, among a sea of greenskins. I have chosen to follow a old dwarf collection book, which show the Karak Azul`s colorscheme to be green tingled with white icons. I kept their armor metallic and unadorned, because it is hold under constant threat.

My favorite faction has always been Karaz-a-Karak or Everpeak in the human tongue, but i felt they lacked a little variation, so i decided to alter them a bit to make them more unique as a faction. I settled for a colorcombination of very dark blue and gold, which i felt was way better than the vanilla blue and yellow.

Karak Kadrin is famous for being home to the biggest shrine of the warrior god Grimnir, so i have retextured the slayers of the hold to match that the warriors who gathers there are some of the most savage in the Karak Ankor. The color scheme is dark red mixed with darker armor as I wanted them to look darker and gritier as the hold of Karak Kadrin is constantly fighting to protect the Peak Pass from hordes of Orcs.

The Realm of Zhufbar, home to the Engineers Guild, or "Torrent-gate" in Khazalid is the last of the Northern Holds of the Dwarfs, that i have reskinned.
My main focus has as always been to give the Dwarfs of Zhufbar a unique, lorefriendly look. I have chosen to maintain a colorscheme of dark green and white tempered with bronze instead of gold.

All my reskins are as lorefriendly as i can possible make them, while tryin to maintaining a also visual appealing look to the dwarf factions.

Many units have added new custom unitcards to make them unique to their faction.

I spent a lot time in studying the old army books, like Stone and Steel, and concept art of the warhammer dwarfs. I used them in redesigning especially the shields and colors chemes. I think the generic dwarf race is uinspiring and boring in its visual appearance, so i decided to change that.

This will be my primary mod, as i intend to reskin all dwarf faction and next up is: Karak Hirn.

As the mod is a reskin, it should be compatible with most mods, and it works together with SFO, which i use. It is compatible with Dryains mods, except the dwarf mod as his overwrites my color schemes.

Please report any errors, you find as i have never made a big mod like this before….something is bound to go wrong :))

I am still learning the proces of modding, so constructive criticism and suggestions are more then welcome. If you find the mod deserving enough, please rate it, as it will set a smile on my face.
Best Regards Woodtur.
