Legacy of the Karlings
On May 13th, 2020, a group of friends started a mega campaign in CK2 starting as tiny counts in France and England. As the world evolved, players jumped onto different nations until an entirely new world was forged from the ‘divine’ intervention of the players. Now, a completely irrecognizable world has emerged. The Holy Roman Empire, who’s realm spread from Ghana to Belarus fell to anarchy after the Frankish-Karling Emperor died during the 20th Crusade for Egypt, seeking to liberate the Danish-Nubians from the Egyptian-Mongol Empire. The North African Berber-Germans of Tingitania and Vandalia, who were once ruled by the Holy Roman Empire, have finally been given the opportunity to forge their own destiny. In this world of chaos, who will reign supreme as the next age begins?

Cumanians settled in Chernigov and created their own culture and nation.
Northern France, being influenced by the Germans in their time in the Holy Roman Empire led to the re-emergence of the Frankish Culture. Splitting the German Culture in Two.
Hungarians, Estonians and Bohemians were culturally integrated into the German Culture group.
Southern France, being estranged by the German resurgence, created their own culture group under Occitian.
The Tibetans created their own Empire.
Scandinavian settlers in Russia after a century of hordes dominating the region led to a new culture group and nation; Rutosi and the Gardariki.
There are old bulgarians settled in Sweden.
The Byzantine Empire lies shattered by the 14th Crusade, with the Latin empire holding onto the former capital.
