Abdication
This mod makes it possible to abdicate as a desperate ruler (or just when you feel like it). In addition, vassals can be forced to abdicate if you have a certain authority level. There have been a few other mods that have implemented this feature, but they never felt like part of the game in my opinion.
I hope I can offer a more refined mod with this one. If you have any suggestions for improvements or requests for this mod, please feel free to ask.
Existing Features:
• The decision to abdicate
• Character interaction to force a vassal to abdicate (Update 1)
• Reactions of other characters to the change of ruler (Update 2)
Vassals and other rulers now get an opinion penalty depending on their opinion of the previous ruler
Planned features:
• Continuing to rule a lower title (Update 3, mid-April).
Possible features / ideas:
• Intrigue to get another ruler to "voluntarily" abdicate.
• More stress events (related to abdication)
