Samurai Legplates Recolor + Texture Fix
Very lightweight mod that just changes Samurai Legplates and Clothpants to be a nicer brown color, instead of the green/gray they normally are.
Also changes the rags on the Samurai Chestplate’s arms to the same color.
NEW – The weird texture discontinuity on the back of the leg items has been fixed. Check the last screenshot.
Created with items such as the Armored Rags and Tagelmust in mind, this recolor was intended to expand on matching fashion options without adding armor outright.
No import needed, etc.
NEW – Icons for undyed Legplates and Clothpants have been added. The information below only applies to painted variants.
Samurai Legplates and Clothpants are set to generate their own inventory icons, not have preset ones. Because the icons need to reset, you’d need to find Kenshi/data/items/icons, find all of icons of colored variants of the samurai set, and delete them. They’ll be regenerated using the proper brown color next time they show up in a container/ in your inventory.
This mod has a built-in patch for Improved Samurai Colormaps, so you can use the new dyed armor patterns IN ADDITION to the texture fix this mod adds. Both mods work fine independently due to the way I made the patch, though.
Probably doesn’t matter, unless you have a different mod that changes this specific texture. If you’re using Improved Samurai Colormaps, load this mod after it for the patch to take effect.
