Московский государственный университет тонких химических технологий имени М. В. Ломоносова (традиционная аббревиатура «МИТХТ» – один из старейших вузов страны, осуществляющих подготовку по широкому спектру специальностей в области химических технологий.
18 апреля 1930 года приказом по Наркомпросу 2-й МГУ был реорганизован в три самостоятельных института: медицинский (ныне РНИМУ им. Пирогова), педагогический (ныне МПГУ) и химико-технологический (ныне МИТХТ). Последний передавался в ведение Всехимпрома ВСНХ СССР.
10 мая 1931 года химико-фармацевтический факультет стал самостоятельным и получил новое название — Московский институт тонкой химической технологии (МИТХТ). Исторически такое название института объясняется характером объектов, которые изучали студенты: это были малотоннажные химико-фармацевтические технологии, технологии платиновых металлов и редкоземельных элементов. С этого момента начинается новый этап развития института, который быстро становится одним из ведущих вузов химической промышленности. Перед ним поставили задачу подготовки специалистов для наукоёмких отраслей химической технологии. В МИТХТ впервые в стране начали подготовку инженеров по технологии тонких неорганических продуктов, синтетического каучука, тонких органических продуктов, искусственного жидкого топлива, элементоорганических соединений и по ряду других специальностей.
В игре представляет из себя, естественно, университет. 400 преподавателей, 700 рабочих. Величайший университет!

Lomonosov Moscow State University of Fine Chemical Technologies (the traditional abbreviation "MITHT" is one of the oldest universities in the country, providing training in a wide range of specialties in the field of chemical technology.
On April 18, 1930, by order of the People’s Commissariat for Education of the 2nd Moscow State University, it was reorganized into three independent institutes: medical (now Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University), pedagogical (now Moscow State Pedagogical University) and chemical-technological (now MITHT). The latter was transferred to the jurisdiction of the All-Chemical Industry of the Supreme Council of the National Economy of the USSR.
On May 10, 1931, the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy became independent and received a new name – Moscow Institute of Fine Chemical Technology (MITHT). Historically, this name of the institute is explained by the nature of the objects that the students studied: these were low-tonnage chemical and pharmaceutical technologies, technologies of platinum metals and rare earth elements. From this moment on, a new stage in the development of the institute begins, which quickly becomes one of the leading universities in the chemical industry. He was given the task of training specialists for science-intensive branches of chemical technology. For the first time in the country, MITHT began training engineers in the technology of fine inorganic products, synthetic rubber, fine organic products, artificial liquid fuel, organoelement compounds and in a number of other specialties.
The game is, of course, a university. 400 teachers, 700 workers. Great university!
