C-130J "HERCULES" Multi-Role Transport
Description
The C-130J Hercules is an American four engined turboprop military transport aircraft. This particular model is fitted out for cargo, troop transport, SAR and reconnaisance purposes.
Technical Specifications
- Four high efficiency turboprop engines allowing cruises at 200kts for very long endurances.
- Fully automated flight control system that can take off, fly to waypoint.
- Twin radio suite and beacon detector.
- Surface scan radar.
- Multi function display with screens for Engine, Map, HSI and Radar.
- Mission Command station to rear of flight deck with control over gimbal stabilised camera with laser rangefinder.
- Cargo bay is 9 block wide and 9 blocks high.
Operation
- Turn on electrics, avionics, fuel pumps (Overhead)
- Turn on engines (Overhead)
- Increase/ decrease power with 1 and 2 keys.
Autopilot Operation
- Fly to Waypoint Mode: Enter WP coordinates, aircraft will fly to coordinates.
- Altitude Hold Mode: Aircraft will maintain a selected height, roll and yaw is still under pilot control.
- Orbit Mode: Aircraft will enter a Left Orbit pattern, allowing the recconaisance camera to see and track the ground.
Let me know if there are any issues, worked on my PC, but there is a lot of logic here…
I may add different versions in the future, definitely a AC-130 when the weapons DLC is released.

Hotfix 1.10 – Fixed issues with electrical system.

Hotfix 1.21 – Allows MFDs touch input from both MFD’s
