L50 Warrior

Please read the description in order to have the most success with this missile

The L50 Warrior is a fully self contained APN missile. It’s main purpose is to be a compact missile to be fitted on helicopters and small vehicles, and works best against ground targets but it can also work on air targets. It is fire and forget which means that it does not require any external input after it is fired.

What exactly does "APN" mean?
APN is a missile guidance law that stands for Augmented Proportional Navigation. This means that the missile will lead any moving target in the direction that it is moving in order to get a direct hit.

Usage guide:
Once the missile detaches from the magnets it will fire its rockets and begin searching for a target, once it finds a target it will go for it. The missile should be aimed slightly above the target for better chances of locking on and getting a hit. Any targets must be visible for the radar to get a lock.

Missile Info:
– 3×4 single microcontroller for the whole missile
– Max speed when launched from ground: 165m/s
– Range: 800M powered however it can glide up to 2KM (range greatly increased when fired from moving vehicle)
– Dimensions: 3 blocks wide, 3 blocks high and 15 blocks long (10 blocks shorter than the L240)
– 2 block compact mounting system
– APN Guidance
– Adjustable lead/sensitivity
– Underwater launch capable
– Air launch capable
– Roll stabilization

Reminder: Do not reupload the missile itself or if it is very slightly modified (eg. new paint job).

Known Issues:
Due to the nature of radars in this game, it is possible for a target to be quite close and not be visible on radars. I cannot fix this as this is a limitation of radars in the game. In order to see if your target is visible from radar I have included a radar HUD which will show any targets it sees. The missile can also start to oscillate when fired from a really fast moving vehicle, the solution to that is to slow down.
